2 NXT Women’s Title Matches Also Set For WWE Vengeance Day 2025

Earlier tonight, the first match for WWE Vengeance Day was announced to be a Triple Threat match with Oba Femi defending the NXT Championship against A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. It didn’t take long before two more matches were added to the lineup, though.

First up, a Women’s North American Championship match has now been added to the card, with Fallon Henley defending against Stephanie Vaquer.

Vaquer had previously won the right to challenge Henley a few weeks back, but put that title shot on the line against Shotzi, who had pinned Henley in a six-woman tag team match. Shotzi would beat Vaquer due to Henley hitting Vaquer in the back with her title belt (which Shotzi didn’t notice, but capitalized on for a pinfall).

Tonight, though, Shotzi lost her bid at winning the title. Immediately after the match, Henley was walking back on the ramp and bumped into Vaquer, and it was announced on the spot that Henley will defend against Vaquer.

After the commercial break, another match was announced in a backstage segment where Ava said Giulia will have the best competition. Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade interrupted, upset in thinking that Ava would announce Bayley gets a title shot, with Roxanne blaming this punishment of not including her on Cora for her losing their tag team match earlier. Ava then clarified it’s actually a Triple Threat match with Giulia defending against Bayley and Roxanne Perez (her rematch she was just upset about not getting) and Cora was then upset, either at Perez throwing her under the bus and/or about not being included in the title scene.

This means the lineup right now for WWE Vengeance Day 2025 consists of the following card:

  • Triple Threat for the NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller)
  • Triple Threat for the NXT Women’s Championship: Giulia (c) vs. Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez
  • Singles Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship: Fallon Henley (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer
