2 Matches Announced For WWE NXT 7/9/2024 Episode

Two matches were announced for this upcoming Tuesday night’s edition of WWE NXT (July 9, 2024) during WWE NXT Heatwave.

First up, if you missed last week’s episode, Gallus was set to face Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. Instead, the two teams brawled in the backstage area and were taken off the card to be checked by the medical team (aka, WWE decided not to put the match on that show and wrote a stall tactic in there). As expected, that match is set to take place on this next episode of NXT, as Gallus had a quick social media video to talk some trash:

After Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace scored arguably an upset victory on the Countdown to NXT Heatwave pre-show over Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx, there was a backstage segment with Petrovic, Grace and Ava.

Grace talked about how she can’t have an “anchor” weighing her down like Petrovic, who was notably the one who got the pin for her team. Petrovic suggested they fight on Tuesday to settle who is the better of the two. Ava agreed and booked that match to take place as well.
